Restoring Ritual: Salt Water Cleanse
Main Points for Today:
People have flocked to the ocean for centuries for a reason. Saltwater is one of the most healing things on the planet. It produces negative ions which helps the human body fight diseases and stay calm and happy.
This salt water ritual is going to bring the ocean to you, and also—bonus—help you block negative energies from your body and your home space, too.
As you begin the first week of this program and learn your foundations, I wanted to offer you another ritual to ensure you’re keeping drama and old depleting patterns as far away from you as possible. This is an intense time of creating a bigger push to move into new ways, and you’ll need all the intention-setting you can get.
Today, it’s going to be most powerful to do something that makes the statement that you are willing and ready to stay clear of any bad mojo.
This technique is an invitation you send out (and in) that will cause you to vibe at a higher level, and watch what happens when you’re in this state. More opportunities and good feelings/inspirations tend to come find you when you’re open to them.
It’s thought in spiritual and earth-based practices, that salt water is so good for you and your environment that negative energies can’t exist in its presence. You know me—I say: why not?
Let’s move into a simple ritual to bring the power of the wild sea into your life, and remove anything that’s been holding you back from floating free. We will practice the Ujjai (ooh-jai-ee) or “ocean-sounding” breath that is one of the main breathing styles we yogis use during our classes.
And by the way: my advice to you is to get to the actual ocean as soon as you can…It’s been waiting for you!
